The board of ICICI Bank has approved the reappointment of Sandeep Bakhshi as MD & CEO for a further two-year term, beginning October 4, 2026 and ending October 3, 2028.
- Bakhshi’s current tenure runs till October 3, 2026.
- He took over as MD & CEO in October 2018 and has been credited with significant turnaround at the bank since then.
His reappointment defers the succession concern at ICICI Bank for the time being.
