The veteran Anuj Jain and the Company (KNPL) have mutually decided that Mr. Jain will take early retirement from the services of the Company at the close of business on 31st March, 2025.
He is being replaced with Mr. Pravin Chaudhari, another experienced veteran.
- Mr. Chaudhari has over 30 years of experience building B2C and B2B businesses.
- He had joined Nerolac as a trainee in 1993 and was appointed as an Executive Director of the Company in 2008.
- In 2018, Mr. Chaudhari had moved to Pidilite Industries to head their Pigment business and industrial operations.
- In 2023, he rejoined at Kansai Paint Co., Ltd (KPJ), promoter company of Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited, as an Executive Officer.
- He is currently the Executive Officer, Head of India business and Deputy Chief of R&D/Procurement Unit, at KPJ.
In an increasingly competitive industry, KNPL has been struggling for many years now.
Maybe the change in MD will bring in a new perspective and push.
