Digital Connexion, a Reliance, Brookfield and real estate investment firm Digital Realty JV, will invest Rs 98,000 cr by 2030 to build 1 Gigawatt AI-native data centers in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
- The investment will span 400 acres.
- The project aims to support seamless AI workloads for hyperscalers and enterprises.
- The company already has a campus in Chennai, and another is being constructed in Mumbai’s Chandivali area.
Last month, Google too announced to invest USD 15 bn in Andhra Pradesh over the same period for building an artificial intelligence hub also comprising data centers in Visakhapatnam.
